Working at the food bank, after we finished working...
Insectos en la casa
This is why we always carry spoons!
Last
Monday we didn't plan very well, so we didn't have time to eat dinner
before going out to work. Not a problem though because one of our
investigators gave us a gigantic bowl of soup. We gulped down a couple
of mouthfuls before running into our next lesson. At this lesson we got
tamales, beans and salad. The Lord really does provide :)
It has been a really good week. I am emailing a bit
late because we had interviews with President on Monday which, as
always, were revelatory. I got amazing insight into how the Lord sees
me and the things that he wants me to do.
We met a hippy named Travis this week. That was quite
interesting and definitely a tender mercy. We were both feeling a
little bit tired and lost. On the way to our car we saw a giant purple
camper van and so we decided to stop and talk to the man sitting
inside. He was quite possibly high but so very nice. We just smiled
and laughed. Such a simple thing really helped us work with more
excitement for the rest of the day and honestly the rest of the week.
love you all!
