The weather is starting to change. Actually it kinda
changed all at once dropping 30 degrees in 2 days. Now it is quite
enjoyable to be riding a bike all day.
Parallel parking. This is the back bumper of our Hermana Training Leaders' car. While getting out of the spot we got the two cars touching. There was only a few more inches of room in the front.
A thought about angels:
There
are angels everywhere with hands extended to help. They are in all
walks of live, on both sides of the veil. Some carry us, some offer a
hand, some support us, some speak words of encouragement, some push us
forward, some guide us and some just watch and weep because they see our
troubles and they know they cannot help. Angels watch over us and
watch out for us, they help when ever they can.
A thought about member missionary work:
It is
a lot of fun to go to appointments with the missionaries because you
don't have to stress about planing the lesson and you get to make
friends. Help the missionaries with their investigators, if they don't
ask you to go to appointments with them, offer
your help. When investigators have friends in the church they are more
likely to keep their commitments and stay active after baptism. Make
friends with investigators that the missionaries bring to church. Just
saying "Hi" after sacrament is good but their is so much more you can do
to make them feel welcome, so much more. Take them to class, talk to
them, invite them to dinner, make them feel that you truely want to get
to know them. Everyone needs support and member support is one of a
missionary's strongest tools. Missionaries leave after a few months,
members don't.
Sorry this email was kinda a dud but as always I love you all!
